Trucker Killed In I-94 Hit and Run
STEVENSVILLE — A truck driver from Fenton was killed on Interstate 94 early Friday when he got out of his rig after a collision and was struck by a vehicle that left the scene, state police reported.
The chain of events that led to the death of semi-tractor trailer driver Michael McMa#hon, 50, started when his truck struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle shortly after 3 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-94 west of John Beers Road, police said.

Does the police and courts treat truckers like motorcyclist? What I mean is here in Florida if a biker is killed by a motorist it is swept under th rug and 99% of the time the driver is not charged even though they are clearly in the wrong. Just wondering do they do the same with trucker because of the bad public image of them and their driving?
