Truck driver passed out, went into bay Truck driver passed out, went into bay 12/29/07 San Diego Union Tribune, United States Quote: Truck driver passed out, went into bay The driver of a semi-trailer loaded with cars apparently blacked out while unloading at the 24th Street Marine Terminal in National City, and his cab ended up in San Diego Bay, authorities said. John Gilmore, a spokesman with the San Diego Unified Port District, said the driver told paramedics he lost conciousness. When the driver came to, his cab was submerged. The driver was able to open a cab window and swim out, Gilmore said. National City police said the driver was taken to a hospital.
