Quote:
GRANDVIEW PLAZA — Two men were injured Tuesday afternoon when a semi-truck’s brakes failed and it ran over them as they were working on the truck.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said James A. Winkelbauer, 59, of Kansas City, Kan., and Robert R. Forbes, 52, of Liberty, Mo., were underneath a 2000 Volvo semi, making repairs, when the truck rolled over them, then hit a 2000 Freightliner semi-truck.

Both trucks were parked on the shoulder of Interstate 70 near Grandview Plaza in Geary County.
The men were transported to a Junction City hospital. The incident occurred shortly after 3:30.
