635 in Dallas

Over the past year or so, there's been numerous pedestrians attempting to cross I-635 and have been killed. I'd like to request your prayers for my friend. She was the driver of the 18 wheeler in this story.

The woman was clipped by one car, plowed over by another and thrown three ft in front of my friends truck. There was heavy traffic as it was around 8:30 p.m. My friend had to maintain her lane to avoid taking out more innocent people, and ran the lady over with 72,000 lbs. There was nothing she could do, but will have to live with this forever. When she got the truck stopped, she called 911 and walked back to the lady. The woman was actually, briefly, still alive....

Once again...please remember my friend, as she is completely torn all to pieces.

Sorry about your friend having to be the one to hit this fool. 635 is hard to drive on when busy much less run across. It is up to 6 lanes each way and 70 is considered slow by the DLS nut jobs. This happens several times a year. tell your friend that if it hadn' t been her it would have been some other innocent driver. This lady rolled the dice and crapped out. She should have just walked over to the bridge and crossed legally. She made the choice. Sorry to sound insensitive, but this crap happens to good people way too often in the Metromess.
