Zimbabwe Couple Dies

Daniel Jamela 37, and Marigold Jamela, 34, of Omaha, NE, died July 2, 2008, in Kansas City, KS, when Jamela lost control of his car on I-435 and collided with a semi-tractor trailer. Their two children ages 8 and 6 months were hospitalized. The family was moving to Dallas when the crash occurred.

The Jamelas were wed and came to the U.S. in the early 2000s. They lived in Berrien Springs, MI, while Daniel began his nursing education at Lake Michigan College. They moved to Omaha where Daniel graduated from Creighton University Nursing School.

Funeral services will be held July 12 at All Nations Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs. Burial will take place in Sanyati, Zimbabwe.
