A semi-trailer truck driver was injured overnight after a rock thrown from an overpass went through the windshield and struck him. No one is in custody.
The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Monday on westbound Missouri 350 at 67th Street in Kansas City. The driver, who was knocked out by the rock, left the roadway, according to media reports.

Angry Rock Shatters Windshield; Tractor-Trailer Crashes

I don't blame you there, I would do the same. Probably a bunch of punk kids. Good thing the driver wasn't seriously hurt.

Agreed. I would find a nice rock about the size of my fist and place it in the "thought center" of the person that threw it w/ a size 8 to follow.

That's really sad. Why somebody would want to hurt another human being, is just plain senseless.

A few years ago, in Little Rock, a woman was killed in an incident like that.
A young man with nothing better to do, threw a big rock or brick off an overpass. I believe it was rush hour traffic, and her teenage daughter was in the passenger seat. The girl grabbed the steering wheel and was able to bring the vehicle under control. But it was so sad that she witnessed her mother being killed.

Luckily, that young man was found and prosecuted.
