Beer truck fire prompts closure of I-15 lanes Beer truck fire prompts closure of I-15 lanes 7/22/08 San Bernardino Sun, CA Quote: MOUNTAIN PASS - A semi truck loaded with Heineken beer caught on fire south of the Nevada state line this morning, forcing the closure of part of the 15 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol received a call about the fire at 3:51 a.m. on the northbound 15 at Yates Well Road, said Officer Jaci Parent. Officers closed two lanes while the fire was extinguished and the beer was off-loaded from the semi.
