A big rig jack knifed Wednesday on Interstate 75 in Chattanooga, resulting in a hazardous materials spill.
The incident happened just before noon on I-75 north. Investigators say the driver had a medical emergency and managed to steer his rig to the on ramp for Enterprise South before collapsing.
The trailer slid across a guardrail before coming to a stop down a steep angle. Firefighters pulled the driver from the cab. Paramedics then gave him CPR as he was rushed to Erlanger Medical Center.
