July 15, 2008--A tractor trailer plowed into a line of stopped traffic on Interstate 64/40 just west of I-270.

CLAYTON — One of the victims of the multi-vehicle crash last week on Highway 40 has sued the tractor-trailer driver involved in the wreck and the company that employed him.

David Jayne and his wife, Ruth Jayne, of Kirkwood, filed suit Monday in St. Louis County Circuit Court against Jeffrey R. Knight of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Holmes Transport and Logistics Inc. of Sheffield, Ala.
