Trucker Just Couldn't Wait, So Traffic Did
Traffic Backs Up For Hours After Load Spills
Quote:
SNOHOMISH, Wash. -- When he had to go, he had to go.

Authorities in Washington State said a truck driver who spilled tons of dirt along a Seattle highway and backed up traffic for hours just really had to respond to the call of nature.

Police said the driver was trying to ease the rig to the side of a highway Friday morning when the wheels of the truck slipped down an embankment and dumped its contents - 49 tons of river sediment.

The load weighes 49 tons, thats 98,000 lbs plus 30,000 lbs for tractor-trailer = 128,000 lbs. gross. Story sounds a tad bit suspicious.
