No serious injuries occurred Monday afternoon when a bus carrying Hallsville band students was involved in a wreck with an 18-wheeler in Upshur County, according to school and Texas Department of Public Safety officials.
The students were traveling to camp at Beavers Bend in Oklahoma, said Hallsville school Superintendent Greg Wright. The wreck occurred around 1:15 p.m. Monday on U.S. 259 near Ore City, the Department of Public Safety reported.
