BOWIE COUNTY, TX (KSLA) - The eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 between Texarkana and Mount Pleasant have reopened after a major wreck mid-Thursday morning.
Texas State Police say an 18-wheeler was on the shoulder having a flat tire repaired when a small car slammed into the rear of the big rig's trailer.
The impact killed a female passenger in the car. The driver was taken to an area hospital.

Was this truck getting a steer replaced ? It really blows me away to see people changing a trailer or drive tire on the shoulder. Some people are not to bright to put themselves and others in such a dangerous place. Super singles are worthless in this respect. They sure were nice a few years ago when they hit the road but now your starting to see who really takes care of their tires. There's no limping off the road with a super singe.
