SOUTH BEND — Emergency crews including South Bend HazMat teams have responded to a chemical leak on the city's west side Monday morning.

A Tribune reporter was on scene at the Con-Way Central Express firm in the 1500 block of South Olive Street, where a suspected hydrogen chloride leak from a trailer was reported about 7:25 a.m.
Fire officials confirmed that a small leak of some type of acid was found at the back of the company's trucking lot.
