Truck driver dies after crashing into electrical box Truck driver dies after crashing into electrical box 8/12/08 Newsday, NY Quote: An Elmont man died at the wheel of his truck in a scrap metal yard Monday after he had a medical emergency and lost control of his tractor-trailer. The truck plowed through a fence, hitting an electrical transformer and a parked car, police said. No cause of death has yet been determined for Frank Cipolla, 44, who was driving his truck off the parking lot of Gershow Recycling on Denton Avenue in Garden City Park shortly after 11 a.m., Nassau police said. The truck came to rest in the rear parking lot of an adjacent property at 2101 Jericho Tpke.
