Semi catches fire in North Miami Semi catches fire in North Miami 8/15/08 MiamiHerald.com, FL Quote: A semi-trailer truck carrying sod burst into flames Friday afternoon, spilling 50 gallons of diesel fuel and shutting the road to traffic near Northeast 125th Street and Third Avenue in North Miami, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The truck's driver, Ivan Rodriguez, said he noticed the vehicle smoking around 5 p.m. and looked under the hood to find diesel fuel leaking.
