Family sues over fatal crash Family sues over fatal crash 8/18/08 Indiana Quote: BEDFORD — In the wake of a deadly semi-tractor trailer/pickup truck crash at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Ind. 54, two civil lawsuits have been filed against the truck driver, truck owner and trailer owner. Filed in Lawrence Circuit Court by the estate of Myra D. This is an example of how O/O's do not protect their assets as much as they think forming an LLC for a 1 truck operation . If you are found negligent as a driver your personal assets are at risk . It's you being sued as well as the LLC .
