Woman Killed After Car Crunches Underneath Semi Truck Woman Killed After Car Crunches Underneath Semi Truck 8/19/08 Quote: Memphis, TN -- Police say a woman is dead after a man driving a semi truck failed to yield, and her car slid underneath the big rig. The accident happened Tuesday, August 19, 2008, around 2:45 a.m. Police say the truck driver was turning west onto Shelby Drive from Southridge and didn’t see the car.
