7 hurt in fiery big-rig pileup on Orange County freeway 7 hurt in fiery big-rig pileup on Orange County freeway 8/22/08 Quote: ANAHEIM, Calif.—Seven people have been hurt, two of them critically, in a fiery Orange County freeway pileup. Authorities say a big-rig jackknifed on the northbound Santa Ana Freeway in Anaheim and six other vehicles collided with the wreckage shortly before 12:30 a.m. Friday. The rig's cab separated from the trailer and caught fire. Two people trapped in the pileup wreckage were pulled free and hospitalized in critical condition.
