Woman badly hurt in car-tractor trailer accident north of Jackson Woman badly hurt in car-tractor trailer accident north of Jackson 8/28/08 Michigan Quote: Police said a woman was critically injured at about 12:15 p.m. today in an accident in Rives Township north of Jackson when a tractor trailer slammed into her sports utility vehicle. The woman was southbound on Churchill Road and the tractor trailer with 67,000 pounds on board was going west on Berry Road. It appears the woman pulled into the path of the tractor trailer, which had the right of way.
