HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One person was airlifted to the hospital overnight after an accident on Highway 249.
Police say an 18-wheeler was stopped at a red light at Veterans Memorial. A driver in a small car slammed into the back of the tanker truck.
Emergency crews had to pry the driver out of the car and pull them to safety. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt.
