Police Car V2 Big Rig Carrying 44,000 Pounds of Flour Overturns

Big Rig Carrying 44,000 Pounds of Flour Overturns
10/2/08
Quote:
DIXON, CA - A big rig carrying 44,000 pounds of flour overturned on Interstate 80 Thursday morning.
The rig was travelling westbound when it flipped on its side near Pedrick Road around 3:15 a.m.
Nobody was hurt. It took the CHP several hours to clear the truck off of the road.
The cleanup will take some time. The 44,000 pounds of flour is in heavy 50 pound sacks. Some of those sacks are already damaged.
Interstate 80 west has completely reopened but there may be some slowing as drivers take a look at the rig on the side of the road.
