A TRUCK driver had a lucky escape after the semi-trailer carrying grain rolled near Pittsworth early yesterday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the intersection of Broxburn Road and Pittsworth-Felton Road, three kilometres from Pittsworth at 5.30am.
Pittsworth Sergeant Rob Patterson said the 26-year-old male driver from Toowoomba failed to negotiate a turn and the semi-trailer rolled onto its side.
"The truck was full of sorghum, but the spill fortunately was off to the side of the road," Sgt Patterson said.
