FORT WORTH — A 20-year-old woman was killed and the driver of a Coca-Cola delivery truck was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a collision that shut down both sides of Northeast Loop 820 for hours, police said.
The woman was eastbound in a white Buick sedan in the 1500 block of the loop, between Blue Mound Road and Mark IV Parkway, when she had to brake sharply for slow-moving traffic, police said.
She lost control of the car and careened onto the shoulder and back into traffic, police said.

They have interviewed a lot of people that saw this happen. All say she was talking on phone, ran up on usual traffic slowdown for this area, tried to slow too late, lost control and crossed into coke drivers path. This is happening way to much. Most don't amount to much. But she managed to time hers to meet with a big rig and she won't be phoning and driving any more.
