i hear a lot of chatter about who has a cam and why he/she has one.
im really spprised truck stops dont sell them yet, but they'll sell a logitec,
i like going to the glass case with all the electronics, i like to see what new, and the one that gets me is the radar detectors.." For the Professional Driver...which are illegal in a cmv.... i think they would be smart to find and sell a good dash cam, nothing like what a cop has,
but maybe something like the above cam here, and with audio, id pay 150 for that. but the audio would be nice to have,

I would guess that someone either merged or changed lanes in front of him. That does not excuse a high rate of speed, but he may have slowed down, and just had a situation happen in front of him.

You hit the nail on the head. I would like a lot of reality shows much better if the announcer wouldn't try to hype everything up.

I still wish I could see Wrecked but Time Warner wants me to give them extra money to get the Speed channel and I won't do it. National Geographic Channel showed a couple of episodes and then no more.

haha, so true, if they would leave it alone, not hyping it up, it might be an ok show, or just another job. i agree its a dangerous job, no doubt. its risky sure. but so is crossing the street, when will they do a show about the dangers of crossing the street...?

i used to do towing, and when a wreck happend, there was not pullng the drive shaft out. it was all about getting the road opend up again. hook em and move em is what the police would tell us to do.

I love the peace of mind of running video on my laptop at all times.

You might find just the right lens where you only have to use one but I experimented and found the right combination with two different ones. Just go get yourself a pair of cheap sun glasses!
go to a camera store or online camera store and get a UV filter.

This is literally about 3 miles from my house. I live off the next exit coming up in the video.
