Woman killed in rural Worth wreck

Quote:
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Worth County An Ohio truck driver is charged with vehicular homicide for a deadly wreck this afternoon in Worth County.

25 year old Julie Tyler of Hahira was killed when that truck driver ran a stop sign at Highways 112 and 133. Tyler worked for LifeTouch Portraits.

When her car hit the big rig, it became lodged below the undercarriage and was dragged nearly 500 feet as the truck skidded down the highway.

Yes! As a "professional commercial vehicle operator", you WILL be held accountable for any accident if you haven't done ALL your proper preparations. i.e. log current/accurate, all paperwork in order/legitimate (they WILL find your shortcuts if you are in an "accident"), and a thourough pre-trip inspection. DO NOT ignore the little faults you find during a pre-trip. That low tire might land you in prison. CYA!! It takes five minute (if you milk it) to bring a low tire up to specs. It might take you five years to apologize for not having done so.
