falling hay bales from passing truck kill driver!

I would encourage all of you professional drivers with hay hauling experience to contact the authorities with your feedback and knowledge. I would hate to see this kind of egregious disregard for human life and public safety go unpunished.
If what you guys are saying is correct, it would appear the driver of the hay truck should have some criminal liability for the death of the other truck driver. I would also guess there would be some very huge civil liability for failure to properly secure his load.

 

All this and the guy walks, yet if he had been 15 minutes over his logbook when it happened, he'd be in the slammer.

 

I plan on forwarding this article to OOIDA.....and seeing if we cant raise some kind of awareness and accountability....this is a senseless tragic situation.....
