Was this moron in a CMV truck or a pick up truck? It doesn't make that clear. Either way he should have never been on the road.
EDIT : Well now that you posted the other link I see it was a big truck.

This is one of the problems with the theory of all the anti-gun activist out there. See criminals don't care what the laws are cause they are the ones that do not obey them. :biggrin_25516:

This is why us good drivers get a bad name for people like this. MY heart and prayers got out to the families that lost their love ones..

If a company doesn't make sure, or doesn't care, if someone has a CDL and is legal to drive, they should be held as complicit in the incident as the main offender...Their lack of due diligence played a large role in something like this happening...There is no 'good' excuse for that unless it went bad very recently and they weren't made aware of it, other than that, they should be held accountable...

This deal has a list as long as a gorilla's arm wrong. Not only the 25 violations found on his equipment and logs, BUT the company not checking the driver's info and letting him haul oversize! The driver not planning his route and driving on restricted roads. ATTEMPTING a U-Turn with an Oversize Load. String them both up, the company owner and the driver. Then let the victim's motorcycle friends ride by and beat them like pinatas!

yall forgot to mention that it is illegal for someone with such a rap sheet to even get a CMV license. He is a felon from the start and disqualifies him from even having a dl.

Only the controlled substance Felony (in WIS.) DQ's a CDL for life, if received while operating a CMV.
All other violations are 1yr suspensions, unless 2nd violation, then its lifetime suspension (if received while operating a CMV).
