You'd be suprised what drivers do, I was coming into D.C. one morning, saw traffic slowing, I started slowing down, a flatbed flies by me and has to lock up the brakes to keep from running into the stopped track. Then he gets on the radio and says, "I didn't see the traffic stopping." I said, "Why do you think I was slowing down a 1/2 mile back?"

when i was out there, most time's, and this scared the crap out me, we was all stopped, in a construction zone, we was all in the left lane , big arrow sign you could see a mile back in the right lane, i kinda think this what happen too this driver too he ran out of real estate, put brake's on hard, hit that big arrow sign, his trl came over and slapped my trailer, now we had a big mess, i call up boss, cause now i'm in a accident , due too some guy on the phone,i think, as i told boss , you better call ahead, cause i'm now about 8 hour's behind the cue ball, once i get there, they unload one box at a time, lucky no damage, but still took plenty pic's, took trailer back too yard, no damage, but sure felt like it.all i had on was a del Monte load of cans of corn-beans , all kind of stuff like that, i couldn't imagine if i wasn't load'ed heavy, he probably whop me in the ditch, but leave it up too Chicago , too close a lane at rush hour.

The reason he wasn't killed is because he drove up inside the trailer. He could have been loaded light also. I've heard of many trucks hauling bottled water rear end another truck and the heavy loads just keeps on moving forward with obvious results.

I find it ironic, she got rear ended at the end of the Road America race too.
Coincidence? Forshadowing?
