There is actually a thread going on right now with a tanker driver who's complaining about governed trucks. Dude has 2 years out here too. Yup. Scary alright.

The truck was carrying 8,700 gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel and officials say 1,100 gallons or more have leaked onto the road.
He will probably lose his job but should feel lucky to be alive with that much gasoline and no explosion/fire.

I'm talking to a buddy of mine and he used to run for Sunoco in NYC. He's telling me about a Exxon driver on the BQE who was killed after a Yellow can ran out in front of him and he jackknifed and the tanker caught fire.
