Just saw this article, seems weird to me nobody noticed about 7,400lbs over on an LTL:

Lucky for all, it happened before the tracks. Would have been a disaster if it happened over them. I wonder how the trailer was loaded at the dock.

Dohrn isn't exactly known for it's state of the art equipment...“Dohrn Transfer had an accident this morning, July 19th 2012, where a trailer that a tractor was pulling lost structural integrity and broke apart on a road in Rock Island, IL.

just saw averitt today same thing getting onto business 85 at us52 in winston salem......looked like he was having a bad day lol......and not exactly a good intersection to block......snapped right in the middle at the top of the ramp
got some good pics of an otr one in buffalo a month ago as well in the flying j no name must have been an o/o.....pulled it right in there like he belonged there and parked it back broken right in the middle

um...It's a dry van. I sure as hell would not have allowed them to load my trailer with a belly load like that on a dry van.

thats an old ms carrier trailer..
i seen something similar with a reefer in WA a few months back on I82 now watch all the age limits start popping up on trailers

i pulled an ms carrier trailer this morning and luckily only had to take it about 20 miles cause that thing was a pile!!

Years ago I had a lowboy go on me driving dowwn I10 just east of El Paso. Had the crusie on and just jamming to the tunes.
Trk. started bogging down in power. looked in the mirror and see smoke. I pull over and sure as ###### the frame went negtive. Not fun..
