seems to me everyone from school thru orientation always says ramp speed is for cars
we need to be under that
none of the paer rolls from Glatfelter move around on me but they are all on there side

I think a lot of problems come in when a driver never actually get's involved in the loading/securement process as in pre-loaded/sealed and/or relay assignments. But, that said, drivers need to be wary of any load, especially those that indicate heavy "rolls" on the Bill of Lading, and drive as if they are hauling live cattle stacked two decks high. I'd hate to see more paper roll freight being moved over to rail as a result in an "apparent increase" in accident rates.

Maybe, but they're not passing you on exit ramps and turns ... and if they are, they only do it once.

guess the flat bedders don't realize these are rolls loaded , standing up, not laying down. some are as high as the trailer door way.

Even funnier when you run LTL and only have one roll on the trailer and the dockmen thought they did you a favor by putting it on a pallet.
when you get to the consignee, the pallet collapsed from the weight.
