    u obviously didn't view the link the original poster posted. it's referring to the mountain in oregon that is very steep. u obviously have never been to the northwest.

    It's the name of the hill. Cabbage Hill is the steep grade on I-84 east of Pendleton.

    I did click the link, and read it, I didn't see any references to "cabbage". Sorry, have never been to the northwest, I didn't know they named a mountain "cabbage". Why didn't the news story refer to the scene as "cabbage"? Is it just slang? Or non official? Or not politically correct?
