Happened within the hour. Bout 1/2 mile in front of me. MM90
No idea what happened. Not going to speculate on cause.
Just know it wasn't pretty. First time I've seen bodies laying in the roadway.
    Prayers for everyone involved.
I don't like seeing things like this. Got me all messed up.

I'm telling ya, these new HOS rules are making things worse. I am more tired after taking that 30 min break than if I take a couple of 15 min breaks to use the bathroom or just get out of the truck long enough to stretch the legs and do a walk around of the truck plus finding a parking spot is even harder at times now because of all the trucks taking that mandatory break.

The first accident happened in the Vance area at 8:10 a.m., between the 90 and 91 mile markers. Driver James Carter, 71, and Amber Criss, 27, were in a tractor trailer that collided with another truck and caught fire, according to Alabama State Troopers. Carter and Criss, from Okalona, Miss., were thrown from the truck and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center. Carter was listed in critical condition Tuesday afternoon. Information about Criss’ condition was unavailable, a nursing supervisor said.
