What you would do if you were his kid brother is an assumption. Big brothers tend to have an advantage.
By your reasoning, if a juicer prefers to drive intoxicated everybody should let 'em "do what he wants" because it's his life?
Or does that just pertain to brothers?

He is over 18 isn't he??? I don't have a brother so I just don't get it. Are you a driver too allniter??? I asked cause you said you were on the road when JB Hunt appeared...if you are why not train him yourself...if not help him find a way to get better training...its your alls life you do what you want...i was just giving my opinion.
Crankyyankee if you have an issue with me stating my opinion that is one thing, but don't you ####### dare assume you know anything about me. So ####### what I have been driving for 10 months, that doesn't mean I can't give advice to veterans??? If I am just some rookie then why am I getting stopped all the time by people asking me to help them pull out of parking spaces, back up, or fix things??? All while sitting in my USA Truck. Maybe its because I know what im doing and im a good driver. Son, before you judge me I grew up in trucking. 3 uncles drove...1 company man 2 o/os....i have been turning wrenches and hooking trailers since I was old enough to do so.....the knowledge my uncles gave me probably equals up to more years than you have been alive so....dont judge me friend because you don't know me. -
I am sorry
back in those bygone days of 1972 my uncle would have kicked ### for poor truck driving skills
not said it wasnt his buisness
but this hooray for me generation sees things differently
you know nothing about me'olhand, joseph1135, allniter and 1 other person Thank this. -
Got it -
You are right only thing I know bout you is that your name is crankyankee...which I like by the way...i can only assume you are from the north or a Yankees fan...anyway...you are right bout this generation....im actually only 32 but have been in a shop since I was in diapers, my uncles had me working everyday after school, on weekends and summer breaks....i am sickened that there are guys my age asking how to hook up 32 inch flat screen plasmas and video games and computers and GPS...my uncles to this day only route themselves with atlases and calling customer for directions...i talked to one driver who didn't know the make of his truck....didnt know he was driving an International....he was just out of school, but #### how the hell you not know that??? It is disgusting....well off my soapbox now....sorry if you felt I was making assumptions bout you, wasn't intentional my friend

Over-time pay and/or new hires could tip the budget balance into the red ink.
I suppose the additional funds could be derived from traffic citations issued as enforcement.
If not enough funds filter down to enforcement from citations, maybe a tax hike would make ends meet.
That is if the motor pool has enough lawmobiles available if over-time and/or new hires are involved in the additional enforcement presence. Might need to ticket and tax.
SOMEbody hasta pay the piper, even if Peter hasta get robed to pay Paul in the process.

Although it could be not his fault at all. I had an incident when I applied brakes in the middle of an interstate when I saw a traffic jam right in front of me. Brakes didn't work (Of course I did my pre trip and I made about 200 miles that day up to that point already). I still don't know how I found a gap in that jam and squeezed my truck-trailer in it w/out touching anybody. Later mechanics found out that one stick went out from brake system because it wasn't secured at all with the pin.Last edited: Jul 18, 2014
