Here's a picture of the late great Dr. Pepper. (Joseph Glod) A truck driving machine... (That has references to back it up)

Yes, that's my Uncle Joe. I tried responding back to your message but it won't allow me to until I have 7 posts. So I might just have to post post post!

    hrdman2luv Thanks this.

I live in Texas. In fact, I sold Joe the house he and his wife lived in. Then a few years after that, he got me into truck driving. Hardly an hour goes by that I don't re-read his txt messages to me. Although, he'd been so busy with his new co-driver, the team he had in his other truck, and most of the txt's lately were "Are you up?" LOL..

Dr. Pepper was college educated, military vet and more than 7 million miles (the last time I checked) under his belt. He was very politically motivated. Leaned liberal, but had a good sense of economics and actually leaned Libertarian when it came to government intrusion into our private & business lives.

If it was Joe, he was a talker. He didn't take any crap over the CB. He had a way of cutting straight to the facts and shut up the normal stupid cb rambo in a hurry...

Once, going up I80, some guy would call him queer, he'd come back with "Let's clarify this right now. Before this conversation goes any further, and you get the wrong idea about me... I'M NOT GAY......... Got it? I'm not gay. My boyfriend is, but I'm not".......
