So what was the final outcome of the case? He was terminated but was he found guilty ? What was he charged with ? fine/ sentence ? Let's realize he is probably a true scum bag and will eventually get what he deserves , but we really need not find him guilty in the court of public opinion , that sorta thing is part of what is wrong in our country. Just my .02¢

My wife had a driver on her board that got caught for DUI one night in Virginia. He went MIA one night, didn't deliver his load in the morning. Company got a call in the afternoon from the wrecker company that towed it and that's when they found out what happened. When he got out of jail he had the nerve to call asking where to get a truck and an advance. He believed he didn't do anything wrong. Company told him he was terminated the second he decided to get in the truck intoxicated.

Sad part was he had a dog who ended up being taken to a local shelter. He got out of jail and headed back to Alabama on his own. No job and a dog now in the shelter system. He really thought he did nothing wrong.

The company had it towed back to a terminal and sadly enough had the courtesy to ship all his things home. I told my wife they should have sold what they could and trashed the rest. I don't know where exactly in Virginia it was but the truck ended up being towed all the way to our Duncan, SC terminal. Deff wasn't a cheap tow bill.

No, on more than one occasion I have witnessed Lessors trucks doing something stupid(weaving all over while talking on the phone, flying along at top speed along snow & ice covered roads, etc ), and from what i have seen its also typical of other Minnesota based and most reefer companies. If i see a company like Lessors, J&R, Hirschbach or any other of these reefer companies with a pattern of idiocy, or drivers with a "billybigrigger" attitude, I'll call it out if i #### well please.

I feel bad for joseph, that does suck when your company is shown like that. I know years ago, when a truck was in a wreck, the driver(if they were able to) would put tape over the name on the door, this was before trailers became rolling billboards. Looks like Lessors has another job opening. The cop must have got a call from someone, as they were moving before the truck went by. I know, once I got stopped by a county mountie, and he said he had 3 cell phone calls saying I was all over the road, which was total BS. He let me go with a warning when he found out I wasn't drunk, and I found out later, another driver from the company was arrested for drunk driving, and they were checking out all the trucks from that company that went by.

It sucks to see that and that drivers will do these types of things. It is bad for an entire company. It goes on CSA.

It's fools like that tarnish the image of the good drivers...everyone only seems to see that bad but never the good...

Procedure when getting pulled over.. don't slow down, don't use flashers, finish off bottle of jim beam, take pants off. If you are going to go down anyway, get those pants off. Pants just cramp your style.

This post is the only thing dumber than what the driver did. I bet your one of those morons that would say someone with depression that commits suicide is selfish to. Truly you are the most ignorant person on here I've ever seen.
