Can't quite explain this one. The road is flat and straight yet this truck ended perpendicular to the road and on his side.

I-94 eb about 3 mi south of WI border (between 173 and toll plaza).

Could you make out the company as you passed? Even though it was daytime you still can't rule out the driver falling asleep....

Thankfully I was going north, traffic was pretty backed up southbound. It was a curtainside trailer, didn't look like any major carrier, didn't see any markings on the trailer. The cab was in the trees and couldn't see it. It did happen right around daybreak, heard about on a radio traffic report around 7:30 am

I just rolled past this again this time rolling north (west). It looked like a reefer, they had a bobcat cleaning out the innards of the trailer. I couldn't make out the cab but earlier when I was rolling south (east), I saw it was a dark green cab with sleeper but couldn't make out whether it was a company or o/o.

LOL, if that was a refer trailer the whole side of the trailer was cut out to unload the cargo perhaps.

Yeah, the roof was all bent to heck. But I saw a lot of the reefer wall insulation in pieces. Somethin tells me that trailer is a total loss. Besides, if you zoom in on the pic, you can see the reefer fuel tank.

The driver is ok after being stuck in cab for 2.5 hrs. I found a news article about the accident but no cause for the rollover was reported. When I drove past the scene this morning, all I saw was a single bouncing skid mark of dual tires from the right-center lane going to the right off the road.

    The article:
