    Man, that I-24 is a nasty stretch. So the guy crashes in the eastbound lanes and gets hit in the westbound lanes. What do you think that was about? Wandering around? Not thinking right?

    That's an extremely common occurrence. People surviving the initial accident only to get run over after exiting their vehicle.

    I wonder how they know so quick he had drugs in his system. About 10 hours from the crash to the updated story. Are blood tests that fast?

    That's a bit off to me as well. Reading through the comments from the news story it looks like the trucker's wife noted the condition of the body would have made it difficult to do any testing. Waiting for an autopsy. I don't know enough to say one way or another that such tests can be done on the spot, it does seem odd to me. However, if that is true, then it would explain why he wandered out into the lanes.
