Please remember to slow down and pay attention at the truckstop

Truck speed in truck stops drives me up the wall. Slow down - the big black snake will still be there waiting for you . ..

 

sad and probably 150 % preventable. slow down and remove your head from your Rectum while driving.

 

Amen! I almost understand flooring it on the open road in order get that extra 6 miles in a day, but I have never understood the guys racing through the parking lots. I've called 'em out on the radio before, but never get a response.

 

No charges pending??? Are they ####### kidding me? Not to mention he's a Canuck..&like it or don't once he's back across the border its Over...total BS

 

im at that ts every week....its wide open driving in, and box truck drivers arent truckers in my book. Any idiot can rent one at uhaul.

 

That s one of the main reasons I walk as far away from the fuel island as possible and out in the open because of situations like this. You either have some moron about to run out of fuel, needs to use the restroom bad, or upset with the fuel desk and take their frustration out behind the wheel. I remember an incident like this at the Pilot in White Pine, TN where a driver hit a woman on the fuel island and dragged her a few hundred feet before other drivers got his attention

 

Most of "those" kind of um drivers would probably pass me in the parking lot being old school that I am. I like going slow it gives me an edge

 

Yes, drivers need to slow down and use a bit of caution. But the folks walking need to use caution as well. After all THEY are the ones who are going to lose in an accident. Walking across a parking lot, head down, texting or playing games on the cell, or earphones in listening to music turned up to the threshold of pain, and paying absolutely no attention to anything is just suicide.
