Your 100% correct. Back during my cross country driving days at one time I had hurt my left foot. I always wore cowboy boots about 100% of the time. Yet during that short time my foot was hurt I carried a pair of moccasins with me & wore them while driving.

Upon getting in my truck I would change to the moccasins, & anytime I stopped & got out I would put my boots back on, never changed them while driving down the highway for that's to dangerous, besides, its stupid.

Unless Im wearing my steeltoe boots I can easily slip on/off my tennis shoes without taking my hands off the wheel or eyes off the road.

 

Personally, I prefer to wear a loincloth (and no, I am not implying bigotous thoughts towards Neanderthals).
My choice of dress is the result of many years of careful thought and planning.
Cheap laundry bills, keeps my nether regions cool and dry in the summer (ahh, love that AC), total freedom of movement, allows for "automatic adjustment" during sudden temperature changes, and really leaves a lasting impression while I'm at the shipper.
For some reason, I'm always the last one in and the first one out.

Problem is too many idiots that can't get the idea that there are more religions out here than just Christianity or Islam out there, and they don't have enough brains to research anything before making bigoted, racist, homophobic, or transphobic remarks.
