Just another in an endless series of miracle driving maneuvers that make you wonder just what was going thru that driver's head when he said, "I GOT THIS."

I think this QT is the one just SW of the I-285/Buford Hwy exit. I've been to this one in my pickup. I can't imagine someone thinking it's a good place to bring a semi, regardless of the carnage in the news article.

Not sure why the linked video in the article has no audio. In the report on TV they said no injuries. Guess the limo driver was inside the store watching his livelihood getting mashed into the pump island.

Nice going. And the (qualified) driver shortage continues. Who knows, maybe his ex-wife was in the limo, sure did a number on it.:dontknow:

There's a new Loves south of Colorado Springs on I-25 that has the typical Love's sign you can see for a mile ... problem is it can not accommodate trucks and there is no easy turn-around or bypass option. A lot of truckers get their decision making and navigation skills well-tested there every day there :biggrin_2552:

Whenever something like this happens the "driver" should be ticketed in every way possible and lose their cdl for life...

I'm not for certain, but I think this was one of those "automated, self-driving" trucks we've been hearing so much about. Apparantly it had a "software failure due to bad coding". Or it could be a "firmware" issue.
