"A wreak" I bet you copy and paste that before they correct it. Media always making it bigger than it is.

Kudos to the driver noticing it and doing the right thing before it got dangerous. His responsible was to insure the safety of the public and he did his job

You don't have to haul tanker for it to be a chemical spill. He may have had drums of something that tipped and leaking from the trailer.

Didn't look like a tanker to me either yet I did not know positively that trailer in one of the pictures was the trailer it came out of. So I copied & pasted what the article stated. Sure caused a mess & trouble for many people.

I guess you missed the humor in my post. I was making fun of the aforementioned article where they not once but twice referenced a tanker when the picture clearly shows a standard OD double set. And yes, not only am I aware that tankers aren't the only thing out there hauling hazmat I have run HM in dry vans and have even dealt with a (small) chemical spill due to bad packaging. So phooie on you.:biggrin_25523:

I like the way the spill is limited to being described as "the chemical" and "corrosive".

Some of the tanks that are put on vans actually require tanker endorsement so could have been one of those.
