    HOUSTON (KTRK) --
The I10 East Freeway just before I45 North was shut down for several hours this morning due to an overturned FedEx 18-wheeler.

There's no word on what caused the 18-wheeler to crash around 3:00am. The accident was cleared just before 6:00am.http://abc13.com/traffic/overturned-fedex-truck-accident-cleared/335030/

Ouch. Hope the drivers are OK.

3 am. The witching hour. AKA, the flip and roll hour.

7-UP, Marksteven and gpsman Thank this.

There were some major rain/storms pass through about that hour, I believe. Not an excuse but probably a contributing factor at least.

Don't mention the fact that a lot of accidents happen at that hour. The folks over at FMCSA who read this forum will get ideas...like we can't drive at night.

    Marksteven Thanks this.

Well, it IS dark and scary at night. Any decent human being should be in bed at 3 am. Only doped up truckers and hookers are up at that hour!

Gotta admit that Texas is getting down right efficient at clearing up their wrecks though...

What's the macro you send when......dispatch forces you to drive against your will and you die anyways? Oh wait the Qualcomm is smashed too. They can send a bill to the deceased family like the fine folks over at SRT
