Utility type truck fails to see stopped traffic, crosses median, head on into a semi. Not sure who died, sure looks like the utility truck driver, although, another in serious condition, which looks like it could be the semi driver. http://www.wisn.com/news/crash-closes-hwy-4145-at-holy-hill-road/30002074

Had a container hauler pass me today on I-78E near Easton, PA. As he went by me, I saw him holding his phone in his right hand, thumbing away on the screen. As the container was midway past my hood, he started drifting into my lane. I laid on the air horn, and he jerked back towards the median, almost dropping off the pavement. My exit was the next one, and as I exited he called me names on the CB... :/
blairandgretchen and 48Packard Thank this. -
Still wondering what out fit the Semi is from, saw it on the local news and no mention to who died and was driving what

From helicopter pics: Semi driver lost control and buried a large signpost right up the middle and halfway or better through the cab. That can't be good. Dump truck driver's probably all right. Veered to right of sign off roadway. What they called a utility truck looks like what's left of a roll-off car hauler after the aluminum roll-off came off. That can't be good, either.
gpsman Thanks this. -

As an update, it was the semi driver that died. 57 year old man from Milwaukee. So close to retirement too. ####!

And Michigan is thinking about raising their speed limits to 80 for cars and 70 for trucks.
