How do you know the other truck was doing 75 ?
    Pure speculation !
The other truck may have been doing 65 for all we know and just lost it when the slower truck pulled out in front of him
Maybe the following truck was not being observant and looking far enough ahead to see what was going to happen, then again maybe he did see what was coming and wanted to be a jerk, who knows I am just speculating also.

Cudo's to the driver of the red truck.
I would have taken that incident as an actual attack on my safety, and retalliate.
He took the higher ground and warned the assine driver not to lie, there was a dash cam.
I wouldn't have given him the chance to come clean, but then again I'd be too busy shoving my fire extinguisher up his butt hole.

No speculation can change the deliberate maneuver. I am speculating the intent.was to trigger an onguard event unfortunately it triggered a legit accident.

People should just learn to drive their own truck instead of trying to run every other vehicle on the road.

Sad thing is this behavior is common place and needs to stop. Road Rage is unacceptable period.

Automatons are coming to replace us. Sure it will be a slow transition but events like this will only help expedite the change.

It was an attack on the red truck driver's safety just like the red truck attacked the other truck driver's safety when he instigated the incident changing lanes when it wasn't safe to do so.

Speculation? Not entirely. Speculation guided by experience would be a more accurate term. This sort of thing happens often enough that it probably isn't too far from the truth. Driver in a slow truck checks his mirror and sees 1/2 a truck length between the rear of his trailer and the nose of a truck in the next lane...blink blink lane change. With a closing speed of 22 feet per second, a collision would occur in 1-2 seconds if the driver in the left lane doesn't do anything. So, to avoid hitting the slow truck, the truck in the left lane now has to jump on the binders.

Just because there is nobody immediately to the side of your trailer doesn't mean it is safe to change lanes...and the guy in the faster truck probably felt like shoving his fire extinguisher up the butt hole of the red truck's driver, too...and instead decided on a quick brake-check. Neither decision would have been right, and both the brake check and the sodomy with a fire extinguisher both have their consequences and hold the potential to land you at the gray-bar motel for a few nights.

The video tells us all we need to know. No matter what led up to it there is no excuse for that brake check.

As for speculation, I don't think it's hard to believe he cut the guy off. People don't just brake check like that on a whim. That hood mirror doesn't show vehicles in the next lane until they're already beside you or very close to being there.

The camera doesn't give the same perspective as the drivers eyes and that truck on the shoulder would have been seen long before he went to the left lane. He had lot's of time to make sure he wasn't cutting someone off while doing so. With the other truck seemingly magically appearing behind him as he went to move back to the right you have to wonder about this guy's SA.

This stuff shouldn't happen. The fact it happened on a fairly straight and level stretch of road with great visibility and very little traffic is just sad.

A+ for disabling the victim. That was perfect, Wonder how many others were the guinea pigs.
What sucks is, The victim couldn't shoot the driver in the face. Coward :biggrin_25510:
