I just now saw that it had been removed! He moved over for a disabled truck. Must have been in a "slow" governed truck. The rage truck passed him after he moved back over to the right and cut over about a foot in front of him. He then locked up the brakes and you could see his Cascadia hood fold up as he rear ended him. The other truck kept right on trucking.

I remember one time I had moved over for a disabled truck guy was really hauling ### in the hammer lane. Now mind you I didn't cut him off to the point he had to slam the brakes because he was far enough back, but without missing a beat, no turn signal, and without attempting to slow down he swung it in the right lane and passed me on the right as we were both passing the disabled truck.

I do not doubt that one bit! Man I ran I cross I-40 for many years. There is just a whole thing going on out there. Very rude drivers! Now I run up from Texas to Fargo North Dakota weekly and once you get north of Council Bluffs on I-29, it's like a time warp back to the old days. Drivers back off when your passing, usually flash their lights, and just an overall better experience in the upper mid-west. It sure is COLD in the winter though.

I'll be watching for an update. It was a white Pete 386 pulling an unmarked white dry van with a clear as day trailer number on the back. If they do catch them, I'd imagine that would result in a pretty serious charge. Hoping the video reappears eventually.

DNA, so if i am reading this right, he made someone rear end him, then took off, right ? should be damage to the trailer too i would think...

though i agree with moving over for disabled vehicles (not just emergency ones) you should not have moved over if it was not safe to do so

the law is to move over, IF IT IS SAFE, not cutting people off or running them off the road

you dont drive safe for one person and put others in jeopardy

if anything, you could have slowed down, safely, even if you passed the other truck, you coud have hit the horn or something to let the disabled driver know you were approaching

sounds like you cut off the guy and he may have not had time to safely brake, i dont know, but i have had guys cut me off, to let a four wheeler from the entrance ramp
