1. I didn't feel the need to edit it. This wasn't a 20 minute video, it's 4 mins start to finish. If you can't handle simple directions (I left that note about scrolling forward for a reason) then I'm sorry I wasted your time.
2. I ABSOLUTELY saw the traffic slowing and stopping in the right lane. That would be the reason I was down to 38 mph by the time that ###### decided he would come to a dead stop on a 3 lane interstate highway. I always assume that "the other guy" is going to do something stupid. In this case they did.
3. If you can handle watching the video again (yes, I know there's soooo much extra effort involved because I didn't edit it) you'll notice that the idiot in the white car did NOT use a turn signal until AFTER he almost got hit and AFTER he moved again and passed the giant hole left by the truck he let in.

hey sorry i have used my horn at times too on idiots...if thats the worst thing he does, i think he will be alright....did i make it a practice ? No...but come on..admit it, most of us have blown our horn at someone who has done something stupid....
sherlock510, "semi" retired, double yellow and 1 other person Thank this. -
In my years of study. Usually blowing your horn causes said idiot to do something even more stupid. Giggles if you choose to promote road rage. Can you not do so on our model of trucking excellence forum. You have been warned sweetie😛
double yellow Thanks this. -
i have been warned ???? what is that sup. to mean. nothing is my post was wrong, i stand by it. we are allowed to voice our opinions here. as long as they dont violate the TOS, which i havent or even come close to doing so.
if you say you have never used your horn, you must be perfect...stay safe"semi" retired and Dinomite Thank this. -
Just to clarify, I WOULD have used the horn for its intended purpose and warned the other driver he was in danger... had I not been too busy controlling the truck and safely coming to a stop. But since I seem to have found a few of the mythical "perfect drivers" I will continue to bow humbly and apologize for offending you.

driver dont let it get to you. sometimes when someone reads something it comes off wrong to them, or they are having a bad day. i have been guilty of it myself....you did a good job not running over the fool..
always expect the unexpected.....Knucklehead619 and "semi" retired Thank this. -
As far as the editing goes, with the upload times we have on most of the crappy Wifi services, it's doing you a favor more than us.
Blow the horn? I do it, the legal reason is to warn somebody of danger. A secondary reason is to get some attention to what is happening. Some drivers do crappy things because they assume nobody sees them. You can also hope a cop is nearby.
The white car does stuff you see every day in any metro area. It wasn't the worst offender. When you see a lane backing up like that before an exit you can always pretty safely bet somebody is going to realize they don't want to be in that lane, or don't want to sit in the backup. The ones that piss me off the most are the ones who do want to exit at the next ramp, but not wait. They jump out of the backed up lane, pass until they get right at the exit, then try to squeeze back in, sometimes camping out on the shoulder, trying to look innocent.double yellow, Giggles the Original and magoo68 Thank this.
