Give the pickup driver a Darwin award. As was said in the comments, how do you forget that you just passed a bull hauler, and decide to crank it around? Bull hauler saved that guys life with his quick reaction. Otherwise he'd have hit the drivers door and lights out.

 

People are so stupid, they just don't look at their mirrors at all. Pickup driver is lucky as hell he didn't get wiped out for his incompetence.

 

My language a lot worse. He's lucky you moved left, or you would have hit the drivers door. Glad your okay, sorry about your truck.

 

That is why I always have a dash camera on while I drive.

 

That was some cringeworthy #### right there.

 

I watched it this morning before heading to work. He was on the radio comminting about how 4 wheelers haul ### past you just to turn--- Oh S&^% Schreech and done. Looked at his FB page to see and sure enough he had pics of the aftermath. Lucky he had a Bull Bar on the front, be the impact still messed up the front pretty bad.

 

Glad the idiot in the F150 is gonna make it. The sad thing here is this isn't that uncommon, the rare thing here is everyone survived. Keep your eyes peeled folks.

 

I know it is the natural reaction to want to veer over to the oncoming lane to avoid the impact, but if the big truck had held his lane the pickup truck may have had a better chance of zooming out of the way. Hold the lane and shed speed off you have the right of way. Just like hitting an animal in the road don't want to flip the truck over trying to avoid.

For the pickup driver, that guy was plain stupid. Want to make an illegal Uturn? at least look in the mirror to make sure the road behind is clear duh.

 

WOW, that went right up my spine. (still a little shook up) When the white pickup passed him, I knew that was going to be the one that caused this. And I'm sorry scottied, in that same situation, we don't know what we would have done, as it happened so fast, and it's not the same as hitting an animal, as I've schmeared plenty of animals without wrecking the truck, but this, you know, is a human being, no matter how stupid. I don't think any kind of action would have resulted in the pickup clearing the truck. I'll bet this driver wanted to beat the pulp out the pickup driver, if there was anything left of the driver to do that. Surely it was alcohol induced,( on the part of the pickup driver) as normal people don't do things like that. Does anybody think this was intentional? I mean, it was perfect timing. I think the truck driver did a great job of not rolling it over. Matter of fact, I don't think I can look at this again. I've said it before and I'll say it again. GET A DASH CAM. It will save this truckers rear end.
