Yep. Posted in a another thread but redundancy is always overlooked with these kind of videos

Odd... I looked to see if this had been posted here already, but the thread where it was posted didn't show up for me until after I posted this... sigh..

Just gives up? Watch the very beginning of the video again- what exactly was he supposed to do? I was in that ice (No, i didn't hit anything but it was nasty in several areas).. I thought the guy did a good job not hitting anyone..

After he went over the rail, he gave up. The thing drifted until he hit the center rail again.

The driver failed. Raining, Jersey, middle of January, and coming up fast on a 53' trailer sideways across the road. While empty. Willing to bet he was on the phone too.

Well, as a jersey local, I respectfully disagree. That ice was extreme and he came off the exit with literally no room to spare (I'm familiar with that exit) and traffic was stopped in front of him - as you can see in the video. The fact he didn't hit anyone was a good job. Trust me, he did better than most trucks and 4 wheelers in that storm. They didn't close all the bridges for no reason.

I think he did a he11 of a job to not hit any one or thing. As for after he went over the rail he may not of had any steering.
I can also tell you up here in CT the ice was not fun either as I had to make a run to the hospital, no nothing bad, but was not fun in my 4x4 SUV.

The driver did exactly what he was supposed to do. Not touch the brake or accelerator. Pups are the worst for ice, then tankers. God Bless be safe
