Now that is very amazing.

That's a Chevy Silverado pickup (well, what's left of it). And the photographer is the truck driver who piled into him against another that jackknifed on black ice just in front of the pickup.
Came out of this with two band-aids.
When it's not your time, it's not your time...
And a truck driver almost as happy about the outcome.
What a relief!! All things considered, happy day!! -
Very true, i can deal with destroying a car, but if i caused somebody to die, (even though it wasn't much this driver could do to avoid the accident), it would hunt me for a very long time.
If there is black ice first change I get i'm off the road, specially at night. There where few times i was dancing around on black ice with 4 wheeler"s but was able to regain control. Never lost control on black ice with a semi truck, with or without a trailer.
I wonder if any driver in here has had an experience like that and was able to recover from it? -
Now he has to deal with the INSURANCE ADJUSTER who wants to know if the SILVERADO is repairable or a write off

It will buff right out
Knucklehead619, bubbagumpshrimp, Mr Ed and 2 others Thank this. -
road was wet, i was coming downhill at a decent clip (maybe 50 or so), about a 1/2mile ahead of me (further down the hill) a four wheeler fishtails, but stays on the road, i slow down, and as i finally get a grip on what was happening, i see the road is a sheet of ice, and to my left is CRST on its side in the middle.
if it had not been for seeing that four wheeler doing that small dance, i would probably have been right next to CRSTtinytim Thanks this. -
I was on a remote stretch of Highway in Northern Ontario Canada , been freezing rain for about 2 hours , I caught up to the highway salter spreading salt , figured a good place to stay , had another truck come up behind FOLD US FOR A MILE OR 2 THEN swung out and passed both of us .
About 5 miles up the road see lights shining up out of a VERY DEEP ditch , sure enough it was the guy that passed us , both the salt truck and I stopped to see if he was ok , he said he passed us as we were going TOO SLOW for his style of DRIVING , told him sorry for holding you up like we did you could have gotten in the ditch SOONER -
Whew...all property damage and no major injuries is always a great day!
